NBC - The Today Show

Ann Curry interviews Joseph Maddalena about some of our recent items of Hollywood memorabilia, including John Wayne’s western boots, vest and shirt from True Grit, as well as Christopher Reeve’s hero Superman costume, Mike Meyers’ psychedelic suit from Austin Powers, and the famous Ascot dress designed by Cecil Beaton and worn by the lovely Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady.


CBS – The Early Show

Profiles in History’s general manager, Lorna Hart, shows-off some of our more recent offerings of vintage Hollywood memorabilia with Early Show anchor Hannah Storm, including Bill Travilla’s costume sketch of Marilyn Monroe’s “Subway Scene” dress from The Seven Year Itch, a large-format piece of original Mickey Mouse artwork signed by Walt Disney, and a microphone used by Elvis Presley during his first broadcast gigs with the Louisiana Hayride in the 1950s, among other interesting artifacts.


ABC News Los Angeles

Entertainment reporter George Pennacchiodiscovers the many wonderful pieces of fine Hollywood memorabilia available at one of our quarterly auctions with Profiles in History’s director of consignments, Brian Chanes.  Highlight pieces include an original H.R. Pufnstuf costume and display, and Don Knotts’ uniform shirt worn as “Barney Fife” in The Andy Griffith Show.
